Social Documentary Photographer,
based in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, Romania.
I discovered my passion for photography in the autumn of 1988, because then I managed to buy an analog camera with manual settings. I took pictures before, but then I started to understand what it really means to take pictures in a professional way. Since then I have not stopped taking photos. Social documentary photography is the first of my preference because it transmits the highest dose of emotion, even though sometimes I do other genres, such as aviation photography, portraits, or landscape photography.
Social documentary photography or concerned photography is the recording of how the world looks like, with a social and/or environmental focus. It is a form of documentary photography, with the aim to draw the public's attention to ongoing social issues. It may also refer to a socially critical genre of photography dedicated to showing the life of underprivileged or disadvantaged people.
